Antot and I tried our hands on Baked Potatoes last week. We really haven't tried preparing this dish before, but we experimented anyway. What we did was after peeling and cutting the potatoes in half, we spread some vegetable oil on the aluminum foil then added the potatoes. A few crushed garlic was tossed in. We then sprinkled some salt, powdered garlic and parmesan cheese on top, then dotted it with some butter. We baked the potatoes for 50 minutes. The kitchen really smelled heavenly after about 30 minutes inside the oven. It came out and tasted perfect. We later found out that we were supposed to prick the potatoes all around so it will come out softer. Oh well, it came out absolutely delicious anyways, so we'll just do the pricking next time and we'll see if there's a difference.

Satisfied Tummy

We couldn't decide where to eat yesterday. We drove around the city and finally decided to try out Boston Cafe. We've eaten at BC before but that was such a long time ago that we forgot how their food tasted like. Famished, we wanted to eat dishes with rice on it. But we finally decided to try out their pasta and salad. I was having second thoughts if I'm gonna be satisfied with just the pasta. I ordered the Bacon Alfredo and Richard had the seafood pasta (I forgot the name). We also tried their Caesar's Salad. I didn't expect that one serving was a lot. We were really, really full after the meal. The food was not only delicious but was affordable as well. At P80+ per dish, it was well worth our while.
